This page explains how Bodhi Code uses cookies and how you can control them. For questions, contact [email protected].
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your preferences or whether you have accepted our cookie notice. Cookies do not directly identify you as an individual.
Websites use cookies to improve user experience, understand how visitors interact with pages, and deliver relevant content. Some cookies are essential for basic site functions; others are optional and serve analytics or personalisation purposes.
2. Cookie Types We Use
We use the following categories of cookies:
- Essential Cookies: Required for basic site functionality such as navigation and form submission. These cannot be disabled without affecting how the site works. Examples include session management and security tokens.
- Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our website — which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and where visitors come from. This information is used in aggregate to improve our site. We use Google Analytics for this purpose.
- Marketing Cookies: Used to understand the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and, where relevant, to deliver relevant content. These are placed by third-party services and are subject to their own privacy policies.
- Preference Cookies: Store your choices and settings — such as whether you have dismissed our cookie notice — so we don't ask again on subsequent visits.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are set by third-party services we use:
- Google Analytics: Tracks site usage patterns. Data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Social media platforms: If you click links to social profiles, those platforms may set their own cookies.
- Advertising networks: If marketing cookies are accepted, advertising partners may use these to tailor content across sites.
4. Cookie Duration
Cookies on this site fall into two duration categories:
- Session cookies: Temporary files deleted when you close your browser. Used for essential navigation functions.
- Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a set period. Our preference cookie (storing your consent choice) is retained for up to 12 months. Analytics cookies are retained for up to 26 months before expiry.
