Case Study 01 — Manufacturing Group, Greater Bangkok

Building a Foundation for AI Literacy Across 120 Staff

Challenge

A mid-sized manufacturing group had begun receiving sales pitches from AI vendors and needed its team to evaluate them with some understanding. Staff across operations, finance, and HR had little shared vocabulary for discussing AI, making productive decision-making difficult.

Solution

Three AI Foundations sessions, adapted to the manufacturing context, delivered over two weeks to mixed groups. Materials were customised to reference production scheduling, quality control, and supply chain examples familiar to the team.

Outcome

The organisation subsequently evaluated and declined two vendor proposals using structured criteria developed during the training — and advanced one to a pilot. Staff confidence in discussing AI requirements increased notably across participating teams.

Case Study 02 — Financial Services Firm, Bangkok

Identifying Automation Priorities Without Disrupting Core Operations

Challenge

A financial services company knew it had repetitive data processing work that could benefit from automation but had no clear picture of where to begin. Previous attempts at internal assessment had stalled due to competing priorities and limited technical expertise in-house.

Solution

A Process Automation Scoping engagement with three weeks of on-site work across the compliance, client services, and back-office teams. Deliverables included a workflow map, an automation candidate ranking, and a cost-benefit analysis with implementation estimates.

Outcome

Four processes were identified as strong automation candidates. The highest-priority item — a compliance data extraction routine — was estimated to reduce manual effort by approximately 60%. The report was used to secure board approval for an automation pilot within 30 days of delivery.

A six-month AI Transformation Roadmap engagement with the senior leadership team. Included executive workshops, departmental readiness assessments, governance framework development, and a technology landscape review covering relevant industrial AI applications.

Outcome

A three-year integration plan with clearly sequenced phases, defined roles, and decision-making criteria. The governance framework has been referenced in eight subsequent vendor conversations and used to decline two proposals that did not meet the organisation's documented criteria.
